Steven Millstein, born 1965, serves as Founder and President of The Stro Companies (www.stro.com), a series of real estate investment vehicles for Mr. Millstein.

Mr. Millstein co-founded The Stro Companies (“Stro”) with his childhood friend Robert Bernard in 1994.

Mr. Millstein was an Executive Vice President at Garden State Land Group (“GSLG”) from 1989-1994. GSLG was a mid size single family homebuilder ($30 mil. in annual sales) and owned two (2) million square feet of commercial properties in the New York Metro area. Mr. Millstein was responsible for the commercial division. During his term with GSLG he supervised the financing, leasing, construction, and property management of the commercial portfolio. Eventually Mr. Millstein sold the majority of the commercial properties. Moreover, on the residential homebuilding side, directed teams in land use, debt and equity financings, marketing & sales and construction.

From 1987-1989 Mr. Millstein was a Vice President for Washington Realty Group, a Washington D.C real estate brokerage firm specializing in tenant office brokerage.

Mr. Millstein began his career while on a college internship as an Associate of The Charles E. Smith Companies (currently a subsidiary of Vornado Realty which trades as VNO) working in commercial leasing for their Northern Virginia office. He earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland in 1987.

He serves as a co-chair for the NJ National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) membership committee, chairman of NAIOP National Capital Markets II forum, moderator for the Asylum forum group of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization’s New York Chapter, advisor to the Michael Herman Cancer Foundation, a contributor to a number of other Philanthropic Organizations and a tri-athlete.

Mr. Millstein was married in 1997 and has 3 sons and a daughter all under 12 years old. He resides in Ridgewood, NJ with his wife and 4 children.
