Gabriel Shiff

Chief Operating Officer

As STRO’s Chief Operating Officer, Gabriel Shiff applies his 25 years of industry experience to oversee and enhance all elements of the Company’s real estate platform. He oversees STRO’s capital market, development, asset and property management, mentorship, and acquisition operations.


Prior to joining STRO, Mr. Shiff spent 20 years at Roseland / Mack-Cali ultimately serving as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer. He was instrumental in Mack-Cali’s complete portfolio transformation from an office/flex company to a $6.0 billion residential platform (subsequently rebranded to Veris Residential). In that capacity, Mr. Shiff oversaw over $150 million of residential NOI growth by leading capital markets ($4 billion in debt and equity financings), transactional ($3 billion in acquisitions and dispositions), and asset and property management activities. After Roseland / Mack-Cali, Mr. Shiff served as Chief Operating Officer at Castle Lanterra, a transactionally active investor and operator of multifamily (7,000 units) and commercial (2M SF) assets across the United States, leading capital markets and asset management activities for the organization.


Mr. Shiff started his career in Bear, Stearns, & Company’s Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging (REGAL) Investment Banking Group. Gabriel received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and resides in Englewood, New Jersey with his wife and three daughters.
